Danny Chew Fundraiser

Hi everyone, I am spearheading a Fundraising event for a local bicycling hero, Danny Chew, AKA The Million Mile Man (for his goal of riding a million miles in his lifetime). He also founded the Dirty Dozen Bicycle Race - a challenge every Thanksgiving weekend to tackle 13 of the city's worst hills on a bicycle, no matter the weather! Danny also won the Race Across America twice...he has ridden his bike across this continent at least 11 times! I was part of his original cycling crew, back when we had bike races at the Highland Park Zoo parking lot, and I rode and trained long-distances with his family. His life turned tragic last Labor Day, when he passed out on his bicycle and fell, breaking his neck and paralyzing him from the chest down. He has been recovering ever since, and is coming home to his Squirrel Hill home in less than a month. Architects have already created plans (pro bono) for the handicapped-accessible addition to his home, and we are now raising funds for the work to be completed. My name is Francis Eddy Harvey. I have just graduated high school, and am looking to do yard work for any one who needs it. I currently work on several yards in Highland Park regularly. I am able to do everything from lawn mowing to clearing underbrush.
