Hi Highland Park, My next door neighbor missed her 100th birthday by just 11 days. She lived a long good life, most of it in the same house on Stanton. Come buy some history and support her long-time friend who is finding new homes for her treasures. I might put a few things out too. Saturday 6/17/17 10:00 AM until ? Hi neighbors, If you have had any positive or negative experiences with Matt Mertz Plumbing or Krupp Whitney Plumbing could you please let me know? We have to have major sewer repair work done out into our street and received two very different quotes. Trying to determine who to go with! Hello HPer's, We have another odd Attack Theatre request for an upcoming event. We are looking for Barbie and Ken Doll outfits. We are trying to make them look like IRS Agents for an event next week at Wigle Whiskey. We don't need shoes, but some business looking attire would be great. And if anyone has a Ken doll they no longer want, we would be interested in that as well. Let us know what you have and we can make arrangements. We can attempt to bring them back after the event, but can't guarantee they will be in same condition. However, we can guarantee they will have a fun time away and enjoyed by many. Robotics Camp for 4th-8th Graders

My daughter’s school is hosting a robotics camp. Here’s the info in anyone is interested: Pittsburgh Urban Christian School Robotics Intro Camp: June 26th-30th (9am-3pm) students in 4th-8th grades for Fall 2017. Students will learn RobotC programming fundamentals and engineering concepts and will work with a partner to build and program a robot using sensors to problem solve various challenges throughout the week. The camp will maintain a 2:1 student to robot ratio, so space is limited. Advanced Camp: August 14th-18th (9am-3pm) students in 4th-8th grades for Fall 2017 and have taken Intro Camp or equivalent experience. Students will use prior robotics training to meet the challenge of the VEX IQ Game for 2017. Students will use engineering process to strategize and design original robots to tackle the unique challenges of the Vex IQ Teamwork and Skills Challenges. Cost of each week of camp is $200. Need-based scholarships available for Wilkinsburg residents, made possible through a Wilkinsburg Community Development Corporation Youth and Education Initiative Grant.
