Pit bull foster

Hello, The rescue that I adopted my dog from, Furkid Rescue, has a female pit bull who needs a foster. She is about a year and a half and came to the rescue with her puppies who have all been adopted. She is dog-selective (only gets along with some dogs) and cannot be around cats, so it has been difficult for them to find her a foster. She is going into boarding December 9th. Her boarding is paid through the 23rd of December. If she doesn't find an adopter or foster by then she will be euthanized. She is gorgeous and sweet and this seems like such a waste. Free #MeToo Support Group

Dear Neighborhood, As a way of giving back to my community and engaging in feminist healing, I am coordinating a #MeToo support group for women who have survived or are currently coping with any form of sexual misconduct. The group will meet at my house in Highland Park on Monday evenings, from 6 to 7pm. This group will be free and is open to all members of our community. I am a licensed social worker with 15 years of counseling experience, 3 of them as a psychotherapist, and 12 as a professor of women's studies. I specialize in trauma, PTSD, and gender-related issues. We will hold one meeting on December 18 and then break for the holidays. We'll meet on a regular, weekly basis beginning January 8, 2018. Please note that I have a dog and two cats. They will be not be in the room where we meet, but there may be a stray pet hair or two on the furniture. Highland Park Pottery Tour 2017 is right around the corner, and we're all getting really excited! However, we're still a bit low on volunteers.
