Any Coin Collectors Out There

The previous owner of my house was a coin collector, I think. Left behind is a set of Coin World newspapers from January 1970 thru September 1971. This was a weekly newspaper, so there are a bunch. I hate to throw things away, so I was hoping that there was someone who might be interested in having these for free. They are interesting to look at. You can read about the plans to create coins for the Bicentennial, the new Treasury Secretary and what the price of silver was. The newspapers are neatly tied with string in bunches sorted by month. In an old cardboard box that will probably fall apart if I lift it with the newspapers in. If no one is interested, I guess I will have to keep them for another 19 years. Dr. Kenneth Woo, Assistant Professor of Church History at the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (and Highland Park neighbor!) speaking on the occasion of the 500th Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, will be held at St. Andrew's at 8 p.m. on Friday evening, October 13. On Saturday morning, October 14, beginning at 9:30 a.m., a follow-up Panel Discussion will include dialogue from representatives of historic Protestant and Roman Catholic perspectives, and with group discussion. Goose is home!!!

Goose is home! Gone for 5 weeks and 2 days, he is now home safe and sound! He was found in the lincoln-lemington area by someone who was trapping groundhogs and trapped him instead! That person called Animal Control who scanned him for a microchip and led him home to us! He is skinnier and very, very hungry but seems to be ok. Without that microchip we would have never gotten him back! Thank you so much to everyone who contacted me with sightings or just moral support. It is greatly appreciated.
