"Highland Park" Free international film festival this weekend at Pitt

Dear friends and neighbors, I founded 5 years ago in South Carolina a film festival about cultural heritage and archeology called Arkhaios, which features beautiful, international, award-winning films. I just returned this week from the 5-year anniversary festival in South Carolina! Having settled in Pittsburgh earlier this year, next to my kids and grand-kids, I will be showing a selection of the films this weekend at the Frick Fine Arts Building on Pitt campus. The format is a combination of lectures by Pitt professors and graduate students, followed by the films which received the Arkhaios awards last week. Attached is the program of the lectures and the schedule of the films. Also included is the synopsis of the films. We hope you will join us Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon and evening.
