PWSA Update on the Noisy Highland Pump Station Project

PWSA has received an electrical permit from the city for the Highland Pump Station project. The updated time for completion is February 10th. They do not anticipate any other delays, but I will keep everyone posted if there are. PWSA appreciates your patience with the noise/sound as they work to rectify the issue. Commander Lando's weekly Zone 5 Update is below and attached. Incidents and arrests from Highland Park include: 1/25/15 Aggravated Assault - 1100 block Mellon Street. Officers responded to a domestic and observed a male with a laceration on his forehead, bleeding heavily. The victim reports that he got into an argument with his girlfriend about the mother of his children when she began assaulting him. Victim was kicked in the groin and hit over the head with a vase. Tamecia Lynn Anderson, 34, of Highland Park, was arrested without incident and charged with Aggravated Assault. (14915) 1/27/17 Theft from Vehicle – 5500 block Hampton Street.
