Hello neighbors, While taking up the carpeting in our house on Jackson we discovered that half had hardwood strips typical of the turn of the century houses we are familiar with and half only had the subfloor! After many enquiries locally to locate the flooring strips we were told of Eastern Wood Products. James Furey, the owner, was wonderful and we picked up the 1000 sq.ft. needed to completely put down hardwood in our third floor as well two days after the initial call. This is impossible to find here but he mills this and usually has good stock of it in white and red oak. He is located at 2020 Mill Lane in Williamsport, PA about a 3.5 hours drive from HP. He will also ship it common carrier for a low price he told me. We needed it in a hurry so we picked it up. www.easterwoodproducts.com Telephone: 570-326-1949 or 1-800-445-5428. Good Workout Opportunity tonight at 6:30 pm

Looking for a good workout this evening? Tired of your usual routine? We had 4 port-a-johns delivered today for the Reservoir of Jazz concerts, but they put them in the wrong place. So I need to move them to the proper location. I could use some help pushing them 100 yards across concrete and asphalt. I did not measure it but it is not a short distance when you are pushing something large. One only needs to go across the street, and the other 3 need to go the long distance. They are not real heavy, but they do require effort to move them. They are surprisingly clean, as they appear new. I was able to lock them up, so they will not have had any use. So as disgusting as it sounds, it will not be unpleasant to move these. It will be a good workout for your legs and possibly your arms. If you are interested, just meet me at the entrance to Highland Park around 6:30 and join in the fun. This is a one-time opportunity to push a toilet around the park. Thanks Bob

Orange Cat

Hello Neighbors, We have had an long haired orange cat hanging around on our porch for the last few days. I think I have seen it before but I am not sure who he or she belongs to. We gave it food a couple of times and now it doesn't seem to want to leave. The cat is also very thin and it's hair is VERY matted. I have also noticed it has difficulty hearing and it is always squinting it's eyes. I would like to take the cat to a place where it can be properly taken care of. It is wearing a collar but it looks like a flea collar and it's fur has almost completely worn off under the collar. Please contact me if you know anything about this cat. If I don't hear from anyone soon I will take it to Animal Friends so it can be cleaned up and it's health assessed properly. The cat is very sweet and seems to just want love and food but unfortunately we cannot keep it due to the fact that we currently have two cats. Thanks! Susan
