Friendship Folk & Flower Festival - Saturday, May 7 from 11:00 until 4:00

Tomorrow is the 17th Annual Friendship Folk & Flower Festival which will be held in Baum Grove in Friendship from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. We'll have food, flowers for sale, a huge book table, raffles, kids' crafts and games including a bouncy house, sustainable exhibitors including Zero Fossil, Burgh Bees, Chicks in the Hood, Penn Forest Green Burial, Green Mountain, 412 Food Rescue, Pittsburgh Green Cleaning, L' with yoga, and GOATS! Music will include King Fez, Los Sabrosos, Donna O, and Pittsburgh Aerial Silks. Zone 5 police are going to join us for some community outreach. Weather is predicted to be fabulous! See you there. Hi again neighbors, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (616 N. Highland Ave.) will be celebrating our president's inauguration Mon., May 9. Festivities run from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. While the majority of folks will be able to park in our lots, some will undoubtedly need to park on the street. We appreciate your understanding! And don't forget, you're invited to a free lunch! From 11:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. there will be a number of Pittsburgh food trucks parked in front of Long Hall (you'll see them). No need to RSVP.
