If anyone has drought tolerant perennials you're willing to share with this community orchard I'm happy to come provide the labor to dig them up/separate them. - Ornamental grasses, preferably not varieties that aggressively spread or self-seed. - Black Eyed Susan, Coneflower, Daisies, etc... *Beginning Jazz Improvisation Class for Youth* *Tuesdays, June 7, 14, 21, 28 & July 5 & 12* *6:30-7:15 PM * *Concluding performance Wednesday, July 13th* *Eastminster Church, 250 N Highland Avenue* The Judah Project, a music program of Eastminster Church, is offering 6 weeks of instruction in jazz improvisation with performer, composer and teacher Lynn Speakman. *Students who have completed grades 6-12 *will learn how to create improvised music while playing with their peers. Improvisation is fun and freeing, as students get to express themselves and musically tell their own story. Instruction will include creativity building exercises and musical games so that students can get more comfortable and confident playing music without reading notes from a page. Has expired inspection (12/15) and needs some work (namely, brake lines are pretty rusty), but drives fine- we've done a lot of work to it (see below), and are purchasing a new car so just have no need for it anymore. All maintenance records have been kept meticulously. $1100 (KBB value fair condition is $1525)- price accounts for work needed. Has some rust and peeling paint on the back. Judah Project Summer Mini-Session 2016 The Judah Project, a music program of Eastminster Church (the big stone church across from Home Depot), has been teaching piano, voice, guitar and drums to children (age 6 and up), youth and adults for 10 years and counting. *This summer you can try out private music lessons with the Judah Project during a special 6 week summer mini-session! *With only 6 lessons, you'll get an introduction to an instrument and to private music lessons. We have instruments you may use for the summer session by paying a $25 deposit, which you will get back when the instrument comes back in excellent condition. Hi HP! I'm looking for someone who has a willingness and experience in pet sitting. Now, I am not looking to drop my cats off somewhere, but rather see if someone has availability to stop over to my place twice a day....morning and evening....to feed my cats and spend time with them. (Not excessive but at least SOME human interaction). Preferably someone who had experience or someone looking for odd jobs over the summer. June 23-July 5 are my primary dates but those may change.
