A neighbor on Sheridan contacted us this morning, he had returned home from a trip to find a hen on his front porch, and emailed us to check knowing we had chickens. Edith has been safely retrieved and reunited with Mary. Thank you to all the neighbors who reached out with concern. Thank you especially to Meg Reilly for her over-the-top efforts on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to keep our girls safe. What a wonderful neighborhood. It's a Christmas Miracle! Missing Chicken

Edith, an Easter Egger breed, went missing from our back yard on Grafton Street today. There was no sign of a struggle, so it's possible that she flew over the fence and is hiding somewhere in Highland Park. Can you please contact me in the event you saw or heard a stray chicken today with any information. A photo of Edith is attached. Highland Park Bus to the Women's March

I was disappointed to receive the following email from Rally Bus: *"We are still working to finalize your trip to the March. Due to unprecedented demand for buses, we are having difficulties securing vehicles for some trips. Unfortunately, we don't currently foresee being able to confirm your booking. **Our goal is to keep looking for buses until January 3, but if we can't we will cancel your trip by that date. We wanted to let you know so you have time to look at other alternatives." * Everyone who made a reservation through the Highland Park link should have received this email. I am very sorry to have placed my trust in this company. You can send all questions directly to Rally Bus. ( info(a)rallybus.net 855-725-5928.) I don't know anything more than what is described in the above email. Please accept my apologies.
