Terrific little school in Point Breeze

Hi neighbors! I've seen a few schools mentioned here & would like to put a word in for another, the Pittsburgh New Church School on LeRoi Rd. in Point Breeze. Not too many know about it but it's a lovely little school, open to all children, and goes from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. Two of my boys graduated from there; both had some learning difficulties but due to the small classrooms at PNCS were able to get the individual attention they needed to overcome their problems and transition well into public school. The youngest went on to graduate with honors from Carnegie Mellon & is in a Ph.D. program at CMU now. PNCS offers a spiritually-based, holistic education, balancing academics with experiential learning and physical activity. It's a small, friendly, well-run school. Busing is available through the public schools. [Highland Park] Looking for a desk

Hello, I've recently moved to Highland Park and I'm still looking for a few pieces of furniture, namely a desk. I'd prefer the desk was black wood, but I'd entertain other colors too! It doesn't have to be fancy; just a basic desk with a few drawers. A matching chair is a plus! Also, I could use another black bookcase, so if you have one of those let me know!
