HI Neighbors, In case any of you parents have not yet made final school decisions for your 4 or 5 year olds. there is plenty of space left in my daughters classroom. at the Pittsburgh New Church School. http://www.pittsburghnewchurchschool.org/ This is a 3 FULL day program so if you are looking for a pre k I found the full days much easy then the half days. This is a wonderful , sweet program with a nice balance of free play and art, music and early academics . A strong focus on loving your neighbor. And you can get bussed from HP! Check it out, I would love some more classmates for my daughter.

I have a TV that is free to a new home. It is currently sitting on the front porch of 1135 Mellon st. Its an older model but it works great! Some visible bumps and scrapes from moving it but there are no issues with it! Sent from my iPhone

Concrete bits on N. Sheridan Ave

Hello! I'm wondering if anyone has any info about who might have left a large blue recycling bin and a smaller brown tub full of concrete bits on the 800 block N. Sheridan Ave. They're just on the sidewalk and have been there for probably a month now. It's clear that the trash/recycling folks aren't going to pick them up (They're pretty heavy), and it would be awesome if they could be disposed of. Know anything? Thanks, Erin

Hello Neighbors, Below is a list of the feedback I received regarding installing a complete bathroom on our second floor. Joan We did this when we moved in and love it! We worked with Dan Hinchman on it. You can reach him at 412-337-2672 or dhinchman(a)verizon.net. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ We used The Healey Company for design and construction of a bathroom (total gut job). They did fantastic work, very detailed oriented and clean. Mike Healey employs all his guys too - no subs. We knew exactly who would show up and when. www.healeycompany.com/improvement.php We used Steve White, a few years ago to redo our very small bathroom. He works very well with what you want to do and provides his own design suggestions as well. Easy to work with. Prices were reasonable. He came out to see what we wanted. returned an itemized proposal within 24 hours. Started work the day he said he would and finished on the day he said he would. He only does one job at a time. I believe if you are clear about your budget limitations they will work with you to achieve your goals. +++++++++++++++ We are using Wildman Chalmers (architects) for an addition to our house/kitchen. Room for Rent

Hello All, We are currently searching for a new roommate for our house in East Liberty/Highland Park. The house is close to (6 min walk) the 71B bus line and a slightly longer walk (about 15-20 mins) to the East Liberty busway. We also have free parking right next to the house if you own a car. You would pay $250 for your own large room with a ceiling fan, hardwood floors, a closet, and 2 big windows that bring in lots of light. You would share all utilities with 3 young and very busy professionals in their late-twenties and a cat (well, the cat doesn't exactly pay for anything, but lives there). We are looking for someone of a similar age and lifestyle who is *very* neat and clean, considerate, and communicates well. We also all try to be very considerate during the week, rarely having overnight guests, not making a lot of noise after 11pm, and generally just maintaining a quiet, calm atmosphere for everyone to enjoy after a long day of work. The weekends tend to be when we have other people over, and we all try to check in and coordinate kitchen and common space usage. If you're going to have frequent guests at the house, play loud music, be messy or inconsiderate in common areas or party a lot, you would not be a good fit for the house.
