I have a number of medium and large moving boxes plus some packing materials (clean newsprint used only once, bubble wrap, styrofoam worms) available to anyone who'll come and get them. I have 13 brand new U-haul boxes plus others that were used only once and a few repurposed boxes in good condition. Email to set up a time to pick them up. (Yes, U-Haul takes back unused boxes, but only if you can find your receipt. . . so my loss is someone's gain.) Nancy Glazener

Help ID this bug!

Found this (big) little guy in the house today and can't say I've ever seen a beetle like this around here. From a quick web search I think it's either a black ground beetle or a stag beetle (I'm thinking stag because of the color). At any rate, I figure there's probably an amateur entomologist around here who can ID and tell me if it's weird to have it in the house or not and if I should start carrying a sword with me at all times. It's about 1.5" long (2" with the pincers) and it looks like this: It is no longer in the house, I've removed it and set fire to the yard, it's the only way to be sure. Thank you! Rob
