Need Help Fixing Broken Sofabed Airmattress Pump

I'm looking for a handy person who can potentially fix the pump that's used in our sofabed air mattress. The pump has been only used a half-dozen times and there is no visible damage to it. However, it just doesn't turn on. Unfortunately, the company that manufactures the mattress says they can't just replace the pump - they have to replace the entire "bladder" which costs $300 (it's a built-in pump, not one of those that you twist and turn) . I'm hoping the pump can be fixed for much less than this. Please let me know if you can help, or know of anyone who can. Thanks. Rob Schwartz
