Appropriately, on the Eve of Holy Week, the Pittsburgh Festival Orchestra with the Maestri Singers, under the direction of Tom Octave, invite us to what I know will be a great evening--and it is an honor for us to host the World Premier of Pittsburgh Composer, Nancy Galbraith's "Passion According to Saint Matthew". http://www.nancygalbraith.com/ The performance will be on Saturday, March 28th at 8PM at Saint Andrew's Church , in the Highland Park neighborhood of Pittsburgh. This dynamic new work expresses the drama and emotion of Christ's Passion with a new a fresh voice. The Evangelist, will be performed by Myrna Paris, mezzo soprano. I hope that you can join us for what I believe will be an uplifting performance of the "Passion According to Saint Matthew" by Nancy Galbraith.
