Break-in on Heberton Street

Hello neighbors, just wanted to provide a head's up that my first-floor apartment was broken into and robbed today while I was at work. A neighbor may have seen at least one of the robbers, who appeared to be a black male between 14 and 18 years old. They forced open a window and took a 42" TV, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, a DVD box set, and several half-full bottles of alcohol. Police have been notified and will be investigating. Please be aware of any suspicious individuals and take precautions to secure your homes. Chris

looking for office or storage space to rent

Hello neighbors! My name is Emily, and I work for a Pittsburgh choral music nonprofit that is looking for a permanent office space to rent in the East End area. The office or storage space would ideally be a space where we can store our teaching, music, and organizational materials as well as work during the week-day and some week-ends. It would be occupied by staff only, and *not *be a meeting place for our choir members. Ideally we would also have a key to the office and be able to lock it when we're not around. We do not need a large space, though we are always accumulating more teaching materials! If you have a space or know of a space that might be available to us to rent, we would love to hear from you. If you have never heard of PSCA, we are a non-profit organization that teaches after-school choral music education to boys and girls in Pittsburgh. We currently have 95 members in five choirs in the Choral School, and teach pre-school and after-school outreach classes to students at Hosanna House in Wilkinsburg.
