This past Saturday was a day of beautification at Union Project and I would like to take a moment to give a huge shout out to, in no particular order, Elisabeth Larman, Iris Cisarik, Nancy Levine, Nancy Schultz, Meredith Calfe, Janeice Calfe, Joe Calfe, Jim Steiner, Eileen Smee, Paul, Irina Livezeanu, Suzie Salo and Toni Yates. Collectively, they represented Union Project Board of Directors and their families, Highland Park Garden Club, and the Highland Park community at large. Many thanks to all of you for the donation of your time, expertise, and resources. The grounds and plantings look awesome! To date, over 40,000 volunteer hours have gone into the renovation, continued preservation and maintenance, and programming of Union Project! This is your community space! Sharing for a friend Greetings, My name is Allison Jedinak and I am a doctoral student at Chatham University in the Counseling Psychology department. I am seeking participants for a research study. The purpose of the study is to examine how girls between the ages of 14 and 18 and their parent(s) or guardian(s) think about, evaluate, and respond to images of girls and women in the media and how media impacts the development of girls. In order to participate in the study, a girl must be between the ages of 14 and 18, living in Allegheny County, and at least one of their parents or guardians must agree to participate. Stolen Bike in Bakery Sqaure

Hi Everyone, This past Saturday, June 21st, my co-worker, Li Cui's bike was stolen in Bakery Square outside of the Jimmy Johns. While security is looking into it, he wanted everyone's help in keeping an eye out for his bike.
