[Highland Park] Environmental Charter School - we need YOU in order to expand!

Howdy neighbors! I am a parent at the Environmental Charter School, a public charter school right here in Pittsburgh. ECS provides the outstanding educational experience that every Pittsburgh child deserves. It is the place where extraordinary little people become extraordinary big people. ECS teaches students to be flexible thinkers, creative problem solvers, and effective leaders in the world. By expanding its charter to include a high school and additional K-8, ECS can impact more children, who in turn, will grow to impact our city of Pittsburgh, our region, and beyond. Even though we have over 400 kids on the waiting list and demand for this kind of innovative learning environment is strong, we still need to show the school board that there is wide community support for expansion. A charter has never been amended like this before, and we need citywide support to make it happen. Any way you can help is very much appreciated. [Highland Park] Doggie nightmare:-(

Hello all my Highland Parker's:-) So today as I was enjoying the weather, I noticed two little dogs pooping on my yard. There is an older lady with sunglasses and she tries to play it off like she's not aware of what she's doing. One of the dogs is a yorkie and I don't know what the other dog is. She's letting her dogs poop in my yard and not picking it up---- she's done this plenty of times, so I'm sure I'm not the only one. Seriously, this bothers me so much, I have three kids, a dog, a cat and a guinea pig and I really don't want to pick up your poop--- you know who you are. Please have some consideration and pick up after your little pups! Thanks! And next time, I'll be calling my cop friend:-) Sent from my iPhone
