Hello Neighbors! Pittsburgh Personal Concierge is still around, helping neighbors do things they don't have time to do (or can't do) themselves! So far this year we have been : giving rides to the airport; helping people get organized; shopping, food prep and cooking to varying degrees; delivering food and snacks to offices; setting up a VCR/DVD player; and even temporarily running a shop for one neighbor! A few ideas of things you might need in the coming months: Organizing receipts for tax purposes (cheaper than paying an accountant and I make spreadsheets!) Garden planning and organizing, maybe cleaning pots and starting seeds Creating a spreadsheet of your Christmas cards (you know you have a pile of return address labels...don't throw them out-call me!) Hello Everyone, I have been to the Country of Haiti multiple times and my boyfriend is from Gonaives, Haiti. We recently started a salary matching program to help support Enock's dad's school in Haiti. Because of the severely low income for many folks in the Gonaives community, Families send their children to school without having the money to pay for tuition, and Enock's Dad, Lahens, never turns anyone away. We are looking to raise support to help Lahens pay the teachers salaries. Each teacher is to get paid $80/ month and there are 10 teachers. That makes $800/ month. Lahens has been struggling to come up with just $400/ month. So, we are looking for sponsors!
