Gym rental advice

Hi HP, I am part of a dodgeball league forming in the winter, and it is up to me and some other guys to find a gymnasium that can be rented to our group every Sunday for a few hours in the afternoon. We had much more luck finding cheap outdoor spaces for our fall kickball league, but every gym we have tried wants at least over $100 per hour. Mind you this is three hours a week, for about 7 weeks. Are there ANY affordable gymnasiums or rec center types of rooms that you know of that can be rented weekly at a decent price? We have dues we can pay, but at the rate many of these gyms are costing the league can only go on for a couple of weeks! If you have had any experience renting a cheap gym/rec center room please let me know! Or any community centers/public schools/rec rooms that we may have overlooked. Thank you so much! Nick

It most likely needs to be replaced, but I also don't want to spend a fortune on this sort of thing, especially at this time of year when money is tight. Hi neighbors! My name is Lisa and I am a nurse co-ordinator at Healthcare for the Homeless. We have drop-in clinics throughout the county including a medical clinic located in East Liberty Family Healthcare Center. I started a gofundme campaign to raise money for bus tickets to provide to clients without income for medical appointments. We are a small organization and have to refer clients to alternate sites for vision, dental and lab visits among others. I appreciate any support you can provide. Ring in the holidays with the Bach Choir of Pittsburgh in our 80th season! We are excited to be collaborating with The Boys Choir of the Afro-American Music institute to bring you music that you won't hear anywhere else. Performances will be at St. Agnes Church of Carlow University 3333 Fifth Ave. Saturday, December 6th @ 8pm and Sunday, December 7th @ 4pm. http://www.showclix.com/events/14076 “Beautiful”, “Inspiring”, “Thoughtful”, “Stunning” – Words used to describe the music in the next Bach Choir concert - A Holiday Happening. We are excited to collaborate with the Boys Choir of the Afro American Music Institute under the direction of Dr. James Johnson in what promises to be a beautiful and fun-filled celebration of the holiday season. Our collaboration will include selections by the Boys Choir themselves as well as pieces performed together with the full choir. Most of the arrangements for the two ensembles are crafted by Dr. “J”. The program also includes the Christmas Cantata of Daniel Pinkham and In Eccleiis of Giovanni Gabrieli. These are performed with double brass choir, and the terrific brass players will be featured by themselves as well. Composers Randall Thompson and Robert De Cormier are also represented, as well as a beautiful arrangement of In the Bleak Midwinter by Artistic Director and Conductor Thomas W. Douglas. Other works on the program will both inspire and provide an opportunity to reflect on what the season means to each of us. About the Holiday Happening concerts, Maestro Douglas says: “We are delighted to be working with Dr. James Johnson and his talented group of singers. They have a wonderful tradition of helping young people use music to express goodness and joy. It will be great fun for us to partner with them in celebrating the season with music both new and old.
