Hello neighbors, Relatively recently in the coupons that come wrapped in the Sunday Edition and/or regular newspaper, there was a coupon for $3 off a bag of Purina One dog food. If you have this coupon and live in HP I would love to pick it up from you (you could paperclip or otherwise attach it to your mailbox, e.g., if that's easy for you). We have three large dogs (two retired racing greyhounds and a 65-lbs. hound mix) and we go through a LOT of dog food. As a result, I'll take any savings I can get ($3/bag is as good as it gets!)! [Highland Park] More Information on "Sitter Sharing"/Playdates with Miss Tree

My last email to the list garnered me a few questions about how things work when families decide to share a sitter. I hope this information answers most of them. 1. The stay-at-home parent connects with a few friends who all want to do something together. Alternately, they might wish to do separate things, but are willing to do so at the same time so they can "sitter share" and save some money. 2. The parents decide which of their homes they will use for the sitter share. 3. Payment is due the same way it is for any babysitter-- when you return to from your events/errands. 4. My regular sitting charge is $12.00 per hour for a single family. When parents share me, I charge $8.00 per hour for each family. 5. In all other ways, it's like regular babysitting/playdate hosting-- I follow each parent's directions about food, naps, etc. If the kids are old enough, I can have an art activity planned, as well as some "circle time" activities along with free play time. For smaller toddlers and babies, I'll involve myself in their play at their developmental level. Kids are welcome to bring toys, books, dress-up clothes, etc. (Miss Tree herself has a penchant for funny hats). 6. I am infant/child/adult CPR/AED certified. I have all clearances required by the Dept of Public Welfare for daycare employees-- PA Criminal, PA Childline, and FBI fingerprints. 7. I am happy to provide references.
