Last fall PULSE <http://www.pulsepittsburgh.org/> adopted a section of Negley Ave through the Mayor's Redd Up Zone Program and committed to holding litter cleanups in the area. We hope to generate enough volunteers that we can extend our litter sweep to nearby side streets. *The cleanup will begin at 9:30 am on Saturday June 22nd.* * Highland Park volunteers should meet at 5615 Stanton Ave.* We will provide: gloves, trash bags, trash grabbers, first aid kit, trash removal, and pizza at the end of the event! Water will be provided at the PULSE houses (221 N Graham St and 5615 Stanton Ave). Bring your own reusable water bottle if possible. Please wear close-toed shoes and long pants for your protection. Benefits of volunteering include: getting a good workout, enjoying the beautiful summer weather, getting to know current PULSErs and local residents better, eating free pizza, the satisfaction of making a difference, and having fun!
