Don't forget that you can get your Christmas tree from the Four Frozen Farmers at Construction Junction. 9:00am-7:00pm Today only The Four Frozen Farmers are here in CJ's parking lot, surrounded by hundreds of beautiful, locally grown, freshly cut Christmas trees in an assortment of sizes (3' to 9'—approx. $35-$80). Hi Neighbors My 13 yo daughter is a dancer who could use space to rehearse some of her dance routines a few hours a week. I was wondering if anyone had such a space at a reasonable rate or any tips/ideas for places to look into? Best, Renee

[Highland Park] TIM AND NATHAN HAZELWOOD DONATION UPDATE

Neighbors - all i can say is....WOWWWW!!!! I am attaching a video of your donations that we sorted through all day today. We have divided everything between 7 families. We were about to head out to Hazelwood to make the deliveries but the freezing rain is looking a bit too daunting. We plan to head out tomorrow afternoon instead. If there is anyone who was unable to get things prepared in time for Cindi to pick-up this morning - we would still very much WELCOME your donations! I think I will set up a day for next week to come around one more time....we still have 5 more needy families that would benefit and any gifts for Nathan or other kids in the families would be so great. I know a few people wrote and said they would like to get something but didn't have time. For the record, these families are SO excited about this. They keep saying how much they appreciate your kindness as every bit is so helpful - especially during this time of year. They are all so grateful!! As am I! Whoever gave me the empty black trash bags, great idea - they came in handy for the dividing! As for everyone else - you gave such PERFECT things!! >From toothpaste to Large sweaters, from games to cans of soup, from peanut butter to spaghetti, from shampoo to gift cards, from giant laundry detergent to sponges. I mean - you guys really just MADE their Holidays!! CINDI CARBINE ... MY LITTLE HELPER....WAS AMAZING! She was the pick-up person today and she did such a great job! Stuffed her car with goodies and brought over to my house for dividing. I honestly couldn't have done this without her help. A special thank you to her, her daughter Kate and Kate's boyfriend Ryan for being the runners in the snow! 3 cheers for the runners! I will have you know - that all of your donations will be going to Tim and Nathan mostly but to some other needy families as well. I will let you know how it goes when I deliver them tomorrow! And again - if you still would like to donate - I will be around next week. I'll stay in touch with a date. If you prefer to drop off at my house that is great too. I second the endorsement for Tom Burns! We hired him to paint one area and were so pleased that we kept him on to paint the complete interior of our home. Reasonably priced, so easy to work with, and completely unflappable - even when I tried over and over to find that just right color!
