Hello Highland Park neighbors - My name is Lindsay Patross and I write the blog IheartPGH.com. For the past four years – we have joined with a group of bloggers to help the Pittsburgh non-profit Community Human Services – raise money for to provide holiday gifts for the people they serve. Community Human Services, CHS – works with lots of Pittsburghers who often fall outside of the toy drives that provide gifts for kids and the elderly. In 2012 – we had a great response and raised $5000 – enough money so CHS could provide a small gift for an additional 200 people. Earlier this week – it was brought to my attention that we have only raised HALF of what was raised last year. Unfortunately, when I tried to order the expansion pack, I ordered the original game instead. I got a request to post the orthodontist recommendations so here they are: - Three mentions of Matthew Stacey in Bloomfield. - Three for Tina Reed in Squirrel Hill, and high praise ("Dr Tina Reed is an amazing, trustworthy orthodontic. My kids were always so happy to go and she always made the kids feel nice and comfortable." and "Great attention and very caring. And her staff rocks.") - Three mentions of Chetlin in Squirrel Hill (though I personally would not recommend--just from other hearsay, no personal experience) - One recommendation for Stephanie Rhoads in Cranberry - One for Len Cyterski in Allison Park ("Great guy- came highly recommended to me and I've taken 2 of my kids to him.") - One for Marsha Albright in Allison Park/Hampton ("She taught for years at Pitt Dental (she may still) and I worked for her briefly some years ago. Very meticulous.") - One for Nandita Pearce in Fox Chapel ("She is very hands on and professional,accessible, plus she listens to concerns and has a real discussion, which I find sometime is a rarity.")
