I know many of us are sole proprietors or independent contractors, work in small non-profit organizations, and are business/community leaders in our respective organizations. We might not be able to hire someone in social media communications, or aren't sure if we need to use it. This is an introduction to social media, branding, communication, and how it will effect us and our organizations. Our business practices, methods, ethics, etc. will all become accountable to others via social media. Things are changing drastically, and keeping up can be overwhelming! Here's what you will walk away with: - Knowing the difference between social mediums and "traditional mediums" - Differences in expectations and practice in marketing as it pertains to the above - Set up at least one account for your organization, business, non-profit, etc. - Learned by doing! Navigating your account/s as a business (as different than personally) on whatever platform/s we use - Specific needs as defined by group via questionnaire or during the seminar Bring your notebook/laptop or tablet, although the former is better. Hi HPers!!!! anyone else having mail delivery issues in our neighborhood? we live in the 1100 block of N. highland and it has been going on for about 2 to 3 weeks. I have been expecting mail from 3 different 'senders'; they all are resending their information. I know the regular letter carrier Gary is out for some time; so that may be the issue; just today only mail we received was 3 junk mail items and 1 was not for us! We have been getting mail belonging to other people so I just drop it in their mail box - it is usually in the same block of our home. We have not received the supermarket circulars or even the 'red plum' coupons! (yeah, call me kook, but I love that stuff!!) anyway, guess I will stop at the East Liberty Post Office and put my 2 cents in and see what happens from there..... stay warm neighbors and toss some bread crumbs out to those little birdies!! thanks for reading! Two Tempurpedic brand Queen size neck pillows for sale, including cases. According to the Tempurpedic website, these pillows are *"for sleepers who want a more controlled sleep posture to address neck or back pain"*. We got them free with our mattress and used them about twice before deciding we prefer down pillows :) They've been in storage ever since. One pillow case has a small, faint stain on the side, but both pillows are in excellent condition and the covers have been freshly laundered.
