Hi neighbors - Since school is starting, you may be looking for extra-curricular activities to round out your child's schedule. Please take a moment to consider one of the local Cub Scout packs for your elementary school-age son (1st-5th grades). I'm the Cubmaster of Cub Scout Pack 274, which meets Monday evenings from 6:45-8:00 at Liberty School in Shadyside, with a monthly pack meeting at First Methodist Church (also in Shadyside). We are a small but thriving pack of families from diverse backgrounds that focuses on the fun and community that the many facets of scouting encourages. Many of our boys live in Highland Park and have become good friends, both in and out of scouting. Our pack is accepting of all people. It seems to me that individuals aren't going to make much headway trying to get land value adjusted downward, unless there's a real reason the land is inferior. Perhaps an argument could be made that property closer to Garfield is worth less than property near the park. They will not listen to valuing the land and building separately. They want to know what the "entire property" is worth land and building together. You answered correctly. They consider the value as a whole combination of the land and building. The land in most areas of Pittsburgh has gone up significantly. The average increase of my clients land values has been 400%-500% increase in value. I hope this is helpful. My understanding (per a meeting I attended on the matter in February) is that you cannot dispute the land on it's own. Not sure then why they list them separately then... Excellent Condition it is wooden and has drop sides on the front and back. it can me long and rectangular or round. Great for anything a breakfast nook or dorm room or apartment. asking $20. A black gaming chair has two tears which can be quickly patched. This chair has a lot of life left in it. Asking $15 A sewing Bag is handmade and has three smaller bags with it not to mention great pockets inside the large bag. It is a great travel bag. NEVER used. I have an associates degree in Hospitality Management and Travel, and in the hunt of finding a job in that field I found myself working in the recreation department at a nursing home/rehabilitation center. There I worked in the Dementia/behavioral unit caring for those who could no longer care for themselves. For the past year, I have been a nanny for a local family with two young children. I am currently in school part time for Occupational Therapy. I am compassionate and hard working and looking to take care of the children or elderly in your families. I want to genuinely care for these people/children, not babysit them. My rates are generally $10-13/hour, ranging from the amount of kids OR level of care.
