Item 1. Today's day 4!!!! Item 2. Small white ceramic teapot. $5 Item 3. Antique, hand painted, candle stick. $25 OBO. Antique children's desk. Metal and wood, painted a fading robin egg's blue. The height of the seat from the floor is approximately 13 1/2" and the height of the desktop from the floor is approximately 25", so it is definitely for a child. [Highland Park] suspected drug activity--Stanton Ave. by community gardens

Hello neighbors, I wanted to alert you to some suspected drug activity near the community gardens on Stanton Ave. About two weeks ago, this same sequence of events noted below occurred. After it happened again tonight, I called the cops and spoke with Detective Smith in Narcotics, who urged me to relay all this information to the neighborhood. I do believe it was the same people in both incidences. I am fairly certain the license plate numbers are accurate, especially for Car #2. Sequence of Events: Car #1 pulled up in front of my house. Within a minute, Car #2 pulled up alongside it. Man #1 hopped out of Car #1 and into Car #2. They drove off, and within 30 seconds, Car #2 was already driving back towards Car #1. Man #1 hopped out and went back to his car. Car #2 slowly drove past my home, with the occupants returning my glares as I was already standing outside on my cell phone calling the cops. A second man was driving, and a woman was in the passenger seat. Car #1 then did a U-turn and drove off right past me. Car descriptions: Car #1--a newer maroon car, 4 door, PA License plate #HNV-7832 Car #2--another maroon car, an older model (likely early-mid 90s, perhaps a Corsica or a Toyota model?), PA License plate #HBD-9877 Physical Descriptions: Man #1--Caucasian, 30s, approximately 6'0 tall, lanky build, and a nearly shaved head that had dark brown/black stubble growing on it. Man #2--(I only got a look at the back of him) Black male, shoulder length dreads. Woman #1--Caucasian, late 40s/early 50s, short whiteish hair that was spiked up If what happened was not in any way illegal or I have mistakenly recalled the wrong license plate numbers, I do extend my sincerest apologies. I am trusting my instinct here, though, which tells me otherwise. Please be vigilant and keep a look out for suspicious activity. Hello Highland Park residents, I am fairly new to Pittsburgh, and I am interested in moving to your lovely neighborhood! My name is Sarah. I am a 24 year old professional female seeking a room in a house or apartment with other young professionals, grad students, artists, etc. I am ideally looking for a lease that begins August 1, 2012. I am happy to sign onto the lease and to renew the following year if I am enjoying the living situation. I expect to remain in Pittsburgh for the foreseeable future. I am a community organizer. I tend to work long hours and some of the weekend outside the house, although on days where I don't have a lot of meetings scheduled I may do some work from home. I consider myself kind, funny, chill, flexible, and very mind mannered when I am at home. I keep common areas clean and pick up after my own messes. I am very responsible and can be counted on to pay rent, bills, and take care of things around the house in a timely manner. I occasionally like having people for over for dinner, a drink, or something low-key thing at home, nothing crazy.
