Participants who come to the public meetings will learn the details of the state of Pittsburgh's urban forest, and will have the opportunity to provide detailed input into the plan. All meetings are free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served. Residents are encouraged to share the survey with their neighbors, co-workers, and friends as Tree Pittsburgh gathers more data about the city’s opinion about trees. For over a year, Tree Pittsburgh has been leading an extensive planning effort with a dedicated steering committee, local and regional partners, and forestry experts from around the country. The City of Pittsburgh Urban Forest Master Plan is intended to align the Pittsburgh community around a shared vision for protecting, growing and maintaining our urban forest for future generations, creating substantial returns from a singular investment. Experienced dancers are invited to participate in a free master class with Dahlia followed by lunch on Monday, January 23, 11 am–1 pm at The Alloy Studios. Dancers selected to work with Dahlia will be provided a stipend of $300 and will perform at the showing on Saturday, January 28 at 8 pm.
