I ws walking home the Bryant St Market and ran into a neighbor who is tired of the purple iris plants in his yard. So he ripped them out and they are laying on the sidewalk for anyone who needs to brighten their yard. The red house with blue railings at the corner of Wellesley and N St Clair is the location. The plants are sitting on the sewer cover right on N St Clair. Bob

Dear Neighbors, Will you be selling your Highland Park home? My husband and I are interested in buying a new home to accommodate our expanding family, but we don't want to leave Highland Park! The details of what we are looking for are as follows: 3 or more bedrooms, at least 1.5 baths, good family spaces (living/dining/kitchen areas in which we can have room to entertain, or good potential), some outdoor green space. Here are the responses I got for washing-machine repair recommendations: -Don's Appliance in E.Lib. and they are elsewhere around the city. Sales and service. -Action Appliance is good. -Jim Wadding Washer and Dryer - 412-421-2368. I have used him about 3 times. Nice guy. Prompt and professional and reasonably priced. Jim Wadding is very good. -very high on Jim Pardini. Came when he said he would & informed us our dishwasher was under recall, so we got a new one. 412 882 4678 -724 327 3640 Jim Farren - very good and reasonable I think we're going to try out Jim Wadding as two people recommended him.
