[Highland Park] Preschool Coop for 3 and 4 year olds - 2 more spaces

Dear Neighbors, Well, we've done it - we have a play-based preschool co-op for 3 and 4 year olds up and running. We meet on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 9-12, or 9:30 to 12:30 with 4 children on Tuesdays and 3 on Fridays. There will be 2 adults working with the 5-6 kids. We take field trips every 3 weeks as a group and the hosting and helping duties rotate through the group. The location also rotates among the houses of those who are participating, at this point we are in Highland Park, East Liberty and Point Breeze and we plan to keep the participation in the East End. Why am I sharing this with you? We are looking for two more 3 or 4 year old children to join our wonderful little group. The families involved are committed and caring and the children are lovely and 3 1/2 to just over 4 years old. If you would be interested in joining our group, please contact me either via return email or give me a call 412.606.9263 (between 9am and 9pm). Something to think about: to join, your child should be able to follow directions given by an adult, and be developing the skill to participate with a group for 10-15 minute increments for crafts, activities and story times. My mom is an awesome archivist of her grandchildren's Halloween costumes. But she is now ready to pass some along, and she is selling: (2) Child's Size 6 Army Costumes ($12 each) Child's Size 2-4 Dorothy with Red Shoes (they are just BARELY tight on my daughter who wears size 10) ($12) Child's Size 8-10 Tin Man ($10) Child's Size 8-10 Scarecrow ($10) (2) Ninjas (no sizes, but I would say between Child's Size 7-10) ($6 each because they are slightly worn and need stitched along back hood seam) Grim Reaper/Death Warrior Combo (again I would say size 7-10) ($8) I am also selling my daughter's first dance recital leotard, tutu and tap skirt. She was measured for it, but it's about Size 3T. ($20) Child's Size 6-8 Race Car Driver (Home Depot Sponsor) - ($7 because I don't have the cap, so sorry! I'll keep looking for it.) We do not have a contractor or designer yet, and were looking for feedback from neighbors on people or companies that are good.
