The class runs from May 1 to May 22. Students will make, prepare, and fire pots designed to withstand the chaos of the pit-kiln. I want VERY much to move to Highland Park and have been looking for an apartment for some time. I am hoping that someone will know of an available place that will meet my needs. I am looking for a first floor apartment that has at least 4 rooms - either LR/K/2 BR. or LR/K/DR/BR combination. It must be a first floor apartment unless there is an elevator. The rent range I am looking for is under $850/month. It must be cat-friendly - 1 cat, 6 years old, generally leads a lethargic lifestyle. If there is a porch and/or a yard, that would be fantastic. I need to move in May - ASAP. I am an excellent tenant who has been in my present apartment for 21 years. I am a professional with excellent references. I'm quiet and friendly but not intrusive with neighbors (you can ask them!) Please respond if you have any leads or ideas. It is a top freezer, bottom fridge model, glass shelves, deli drawer, automatic ice maker, sliding shelves. [Highland Park] Come Cheer on Marathon Runners at Union Project this Sunday

Union Project welcomes you to join us for our first ever Pittsburgh Marathon Neighborhood Festival. We will be celebrating and cheering on Marathon participants as they run past. Union Project will have coffee and CoCo’s cupcakes available for purchase along with various other items. Union Project will be featuring performances by West African Drum and Dance groups, Hula Hooping with Hoop Union, Lawn Games from Obscure Games, Balloon Animals and some great music. Come out and help Union Project support the Pittsburgh Marathon on May 2 from 9am - 1:30pm. Donations will go to help support Juvenile Diabetes and Union Project.
