Dear Neighbors, We are planning a Halloween costume parade and contest at the Highland Park fountain on Saturday, October 31st from 3:30 p.m. until about 5:00 p.m. The kids can show off their costumes while parading around the fountain and parents can take photos. We'll be giving out prizes in various categories & don't worry, every child will get a prize! We will provide pizza and drinks so you don't have to worry about having time to feed the kids before heading out for trick or treating. If it rains, well, we'll get back to you on that... WE WILL NEED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP SET UP, SERVE FOOD, JUDGE COSTUMES, AND CLEANUP. PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL IF YOU ARE INTERESTED. [Highland Park] Maps from National Geographic

Before tossing them in the recycling pile, I was wondering if they could be of use to some school or someone in particular. Using Brown University's ArtsLiteracy Project (www.artslit.org) as a model, Shakespeare-in-the-Schools' Teaching Artists will lead students through the process of exploring and dramatizing classics using writing exercises, improvisation, creative drama, and text analysis and comprehension strategies. The ArtsLiteracy process makes classical works relevant to today's students. [Highland Park] bathtub reglazing recommendations and comments

Thanks to everyone who responded! Your remarks and recommendations are very helpful. If I get any more responses I'll pass them on. Janna Eversmeyer Our friends had their tub re-glazed and they complained about how toxic a process it was and the inconvenience of needing to be out of their home for two days. If it's an option for you, we just had a Re-Bath done that looks great and didn't require us to be out of the house at all, nonetheless, I ran the ceiling vent fan and left the window cracked when it wasn't too chilly: http://www.rebath.com/ Very honest guy who will give you a fair deal. Tell him I sent you. David Mendelson: <skype:8142442402?call> 814-244-2402 I don't remember who reglazed our tub. You have to be very careful with the tub afterwards. It scratches very easily. We had a contractor do some other work and used the tub to put boards on. Now it needs to be redone. We used Miracle Method almost 4 years ago and the tub still looks really good. It was in unusable condition when we bought the house and they did a fantastic job. With three little boys we're not exactly careful with it, either! We highly recommend Avalon Tub and Tile: call Bob at 412 583 8737 We've had them do multiple projects for us: superior work, perfectly done, and always a good bit less expensive. They're now doing our master bath as we speak. By far the best renovators we've ever dealt with. Yep!! we did it .. tub & all the tile. Also It depends on the material that you're reglazing...we did a marble...sink...grey & ugly...we've done it 3 times just to keep the old sink...it doesn't work very well. If its an old tub and really special..YES!!!. If it just for cosmetic..you may find a new tub is just as cost effective. We've had the sink done for the 3rd time about 4 years ago and it needs it again...The first time we did it ..it was the tub, sink and the entire bath tiles it must have been 15 or 18 years ago..It still looks ok...but its beginning to deteriorate. If I were you I would do a search on HGTV's web site for it. I've seen it come up on there and they might give tips, ideas of reasonable prices, etc.

Hi Neighbors We are planning a trip to Hilton Head this summer and are trying to figure out where to stay. We are looking for either a 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom condo near or on the beach and a nice pool with a kiddie pool. A playground nearby would be great too. Alos, it would be wonderful if we could be within walking distance to shops, resturants, etc... My kids will be 3 yrs old and 8 month twins.Thanks for your help! Becky

We still have a large wood library table for sale. It is 6 feet long, 3 feet wide, 2.5 feet tall. An older table but very sturdy. Please provide the muscle to move it from the 2nd floor of my home (2-3 person job) and the means to transport it to your own home. $30 or best offer. See attached picture. Thanks! Keith
