Greetings, I have 1 Pioneer Tuner / Power Amp ... and 1 Techniques Tuner / Power amp, that work ok but in need of cleaning to be perfect, because of some scratchy switches etc. ( Radio Shack Spray Tuner Cleaner would do it ) and 1 pair of Yamaha 2 way Stereo Speakers. [Highland Park] honking/noise ordinance

Please help me to understand something. We have recently moved here from Princeton, New Jersey where we had a very strictly enforced honking (noise) ordinance. Since moving to HP, I have experienced a very strange Pittsburgh habit. It seems as though my neighbors on both sides of me have a habit of "announcing that they are home" by honking their car horns sometimes 6-8 times as they approach their homes and continue for anther 5-6 times as they enter their driveways. It doesn't matter what time of day, early in the morning and late at night. I find this to be extremely rude and I'm not sure how to approach them about this. We are new to the street and they obviously have been doing this for years. Anybody else experience this?

Dear Neighbors, On Halloween, remember to bring your kids to the Second Annual Halloween costume parade and contest at the Highland Park fountain: Sunday, October 31st from 3:30 p.m. until about 5:00 p.m. RAIN OR SHINE!! The kids will show off their costumes while parading around the fountain and parents can take photos. We'll be giving out prizes in various categories & every child will get a prize! We will provide snacks and drinks so don't worry about having time to feed the kids before heading out for trick or treating.
