Looking for any neighbors that may have large rocks sitting around their yards that they would like to have removed. We are making stone steps and are near the end. We have found ALL of the rocks used from our yard and the woods behind us but we are having trouble finding more. Rocks must be large but small enough for a strong man to pick up and put in our Honda. Unless you live on Winterton, then we could roll them down the hill as we have rolled other very large rocks from the paper street located behind Winterton. Thanks! [Highland Park] reservoir of jazz!

Hi Neighbors This Sunday will kick off the reservoir of jazz series for this year at the entrance to the park. Concerts will occur weather permitting for the next 5 Sundays from 5pm to 7 pm. Its free! We will have a variety of community groups on hand as well as great food from Manno's Market and Deli as well as Italian Ice from Lascola's. There is a kids area with great activities and hand crafts for the kids. Here is this year's music lineup: August 02 Gerald “Shotgun” Haymon Collaboration August 09 Guitars of Pittsburgh Tribute featuring Joe Negri, Marty Ashby and Eric Susoeff (presented by MCG Jazz) August 16 Jazz Surgery with Tony Campbell August 23 Jeff Grubbs Quartet featuring Tania Grubbs August 30 Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra featuring Sean Jones If you are willing to give some of your time to the community and help us with clean up that would be great. Stop by the tent area when the concert ends and you can help us tear down some tents and gather up some of the trash and recycling. Hello, I have another set of foster cats looking for homes! A mother and two kittens, all beautiful orange tabbies. The kittens are a boy and girl, and are a little shy but are coming along beautifully. The mother is very friendly and all do well with my five year old son. [Highland Park] box gutter repair recommendations?

Dear neighbors, We need to have the box gutters evaluated and repaired on our 100 year old house. I checked the contractor lists but couldn't find much about this. Can anyone recommend someone who has done good work for them on this type of repair? I'll post the names I receive as a resource for others. Also, if anyone who's dealt with this has any other advice on what to ask or look for, we'd be grateful; this type of gutter is new to us. Thanks, Deirdre Hainsworth

Greetings Neighbors, I have an old lathe in the basement of my house that came with the house when I inherited it a year ago. I have no idea if it works or if it's worth anything, but I know that I don't want it. You can have it if you are willing to haul it away. The lathe sits on a workbench that's approx. 8' x 2'. [Highland Park] Dog Crates For Sale

Hello Neighbors, I have 3 medium-size dog crates for sale. All crates have been used previously but are otherwise in great condition. One crate is lacking the screws/wingnuts to secure the top to the bottom part, but those are easily bought at Home Depot. Selling each crate for only $40 - what a bargain!
