[Highland Park] HP Tennis Club & Nike's "Reuse-a-Shoe" Program

Highland Park Tennis Club http://hptc40.org supports "Reuse-a-Shoe" Program http://www.nikereuseashoe.com/. Through this program, Nike processes and recycles the footwear to make sports surfaces for basketball courts, tennis courts, running tracks, and playgrounds. To date, about 20 million pairs of athletic shoes worldwide have been recycled through the program. Got a pair (or a pile) of old sneakers that are too gross and grotty to give to charity. Nike will recycle any brand of athletic shoe through it's Reuse-a-Shoe program. Drop off Location: HPTC Tennis Courts on Stanton Ave near the park entrance. Collection Dates: Saturday July 4th and July 11th Time: 9:30am to 12:00 noon Help support Highland Park Tennis Club, another great asset in our neighborhood.

I am posting this for my husband. He witnessed a school bus hit several parked cars on Highland Ave. Thursday morning at around 7:30. Hello Neighbors, A previous post cleared up why I found someone's flower pot in my front yard. If anyone on Farragut or Farragut/Jackson is missing a faux terra-cotta flower pot with a nice design (lotus flower or something similar), please send me an email.
