[Highland Park] Car stolen

Our son's locked burgundy color 1991 4 door chrysler lebaron was stolen from in front of our house in the 1200 block of Heberton after ~1:30 am and before 6am this morning. My husband said there was an SUV driving up and down the street around 1:30 am, but then it stopped and he went back to bed. Interesting, the city finally fixed the streetlight across the street at about 10pm last night. If anyone sees the car in whatever condition, please let us know. Susanne

Three items for sale, both roughly size 12: Women's Irish fisherman cardigan, hand knit, natural color (off-white with tweedy bits), 100% wool, below hip length. Hardly worn. Was keeping it for sentimental reasons but would like to see it have a new home. bought for over $100, selling for $50. Three-piece silk salwar kameez set, bought in Delhi. Gold-green tone background with subdued rose-colored floral design Kameez (dress-like top) over gold-tone churidar (pants) with matching dupatta (big scarf or stole). Bought for $100, selling for $40. Skirt, gathered, mid-calf length. Black fine wale corduroy with lovely jewel-tone paisley pattern. Nice skirt, I'm just tired of it. [Highland Park] free kitchen wall cabinets

Available free: four kitchen wall cabinets, vintage 1970s, completely sound and usable. All are 30" high. There are two 12"x12" cabinets, one 12"x18" cabinet, and one corner cabinet, face measurement 18". The doors have been removed and are somewhere in my basement - if you want them I will initiate a search. I can't imagine anyone wanting these in their kitchen, but they'd be great for storage in a basement, garage, or shop. If you want them, contact me for a time to come and get them! Does anyone happen to have an old cell phone battery that they don't use anymore....for a Sanyo? I love my old phone and i don't want to change it but the battery will only hold a charge for about 20 minutes at MOST. I would hate to go buy a new one if someone around HP has an old one lying around that they don't need/use anymore. i can even buy it off of u if u want. THANKS!!! Taryn

I will soon be leaving Aspinwall (since buying a place in HP) and thought that I would share this, having enjoyed my stay at River Oaks Apartments so much. Spread the word to colleagues or friends who may be relocating or just desirous of this type of rental townhome community. Most neighbors come from local universities or hospitals. Great spot for those moving to Pittsburgh and want to rent before deciding to buy: Lovely two story, 2 Bedroom townhome with 1and 1/2 bath (powder room) in Aspinwall for rent. Also has eat-in kitchen. Reasonable rent has not gone up in 5 years! Small private patio off of living room. Beautiful pool for all residents to enjoy. On site access to small park for children including a walking trail and shelter for picnics. This is an exceptionally well-maintained community.
