Hello! I'm interested in taking on a few weekly interior cleaning jobs, either apartments or homes in the Highland Park, Shadyside, Friendship or East End areas. I charge $50 for the first two hours (with a two hour minimum) and $15 for each additional hour, with a 4 hour per day maximum. (Any jobs outside general cleaning will have a negotiable additional charge as well, depending on the job.) I won't do exterior windows or any major outdoor cleaning, but am willing to do laundry, dishes, etc. I am not available on Wednesdays or Saturdays, but have flexibility on the other days of the week. looking for recommendations for five things. 1. Plaster repair (on the ceilings we are not going to tear down) 2, Bead board ceiling installation (after tear down which we will do) 3. Old Window repair (cracked glass type of thing) 4. Plumbers who can fix a leak on a very old tub faucet that no other plumber has the parts to fix. Drip Drip Drip. 5. These are the recommendations I received for window washing services: Expert Windows for ten or twelve years and have been very happy with them. They clean my gutters, too. They're at (412) 781-9173. a group named Liberatore Michael Garland ( 814-425-8162) to wash our windows and on occasion to clean out gutters for at least 10 years. Dear Community Advocate, Please see the attached invitation to attend one or more of the ALCOSAN public forums to be held during the month of November. The meetings are to inform residents and businesses in the ALCOSAN service area about the planning process underway to address sewage overflows with implementation of a Regional Long-Term Wet Weather Control Plan. Please let your community know about them. When it rains or when snow melts, storm water can overload the sewer system resulting in sewage overflows into area creeks, streams and rivers. This flow also carries pollutants from untreated sewage as well as grit and debris found littered along roadways. The EPA issued Consent Decree to ALCOSAN addresses maximizing flow to the treatment plant and providing a greater level of treatment The 83 municipalities within the ALCOSAN service area are currently under EPA mandates to repair broken sewer lines, reduce inflow and infiltration, reduce the frequency and amount of combined sewer overflows, and eliminate sanitary sewer overflows. The meetings will provide information and provide guidance for working with ALCOSAN and local municipalities to plan and implement a wide variety of solutions. All meetings will be conducted in an open house format, with doors opening at 7:00 PM and a brief presentation beginning at 7:30 PM.
