we are looking to replace our windows. Has anyone had any experience with Dunrite window replacement? We want good windows not just the cheapest to install. anyone you would recommend that you have used? thanks. Doug

Hello Friends, There will be a GIGANTIC Record & Music Sale this Saturday & Sunday--October 24 & October 25--at 1126 North Highland Ave., near the coffee shop. Over 1,000 RECORDS are featured in this sale. There will be at least 10 crates of JAZZ & SOUL LPS. There will be also boxes of other types of music for sale, including LOTS of ROCK, Folk, and BLUEGRASS, and a wide assortment of CDS. The Sale will be from 9 AM to around 4 PM on both days. Our home was broken into this afternoon. The security system sounded after the intruder entered and nothing appears to be gone. However our large kitchen knife was later found on the floor in the living room. The police have filed a report. Lynn Cabral

hello neighbors: i'm looking for a person who is thorough and won't just rush through the house, trying to get out as quickly as possible. a cleaner with an eye (maybe even a flair) for detail. someone who checks the floor around the kitchen table, to make sure the toddler food has come off with the mop, and if not, will take a sponge to it. someone who doesn't overlook obvious things while trying to hurry through the job, for example vacuuming under the sofa - not just around it. do you have a thorough, trustworthy cleaner who is interested in one more client? please send your person my way. i'm looking! thanks! jill cordova rd

[Highland Park] Norka futon lounger

Another item that I do not want to move: Norka futon: twin size Brighton Lounger, with futon and cover (blue, with some darker blue and white). Like image below, but in light wood-I think natural maple. You can fold it so that the foot portion folds under and it is more like a chair, takes up less room. I bought it about 2-1/2 years ago, and it has been slept on three times-and not sat upon too often either! Paid $750 for frame, futon and cover. Sell for $375. hey folks, we have 4 vinyl windows that are sitting at the curb. their measurements are: One- 53 5/8"h x 34 1/4"w One- 34 1/4"h x 34"w Two- 26 1/2"h x 33 1/4"w Feel free to take them...they aren't the best quality replacement windows but if you have a basement window you want to replace or other random space or even a creative way to use them, their yours. -- Cara
