Dear neighbors, I am thinking of downsizing and am looking to sell my house at 6051 Grafton Street. I love our neighborhood and if I could quickly sell my house, I might be able to purchase a smaller one not yet on the market. My house is a sincerely charming house with 4 small bedrooms, 2 small baths and a beautiful native plant garden inside a fenced yard.oh yes and also a 2 car detached garage. I'm a single woman now and feel it's time to move into something smaller and more manageable for 1 person. I'm hoping to sell it for something in the upper 2's. WANTED: Historic photos of our neighborhood's commercial district, Bryant Street. The Highland Park Community Development Corporation is engaged in a strategy to fill the gaps on Bryant Street and give a boost to the current merchants in making it the more vibrant street we all know it can be. This process is expected to include a blend of historic restoration and new construction. If anyone has photos of what the street once was, or can direct us to such sources, we would be most appreciative. [Highland Park] Friday Playgroup Reminder

For any parents new to the Highland Park area or any who have not yet had a chance to come and join us, we still have a Friday Playgroup at the Pittsburgh Toy Lending Library. We just started the group a few weeks ago and the response has been great but the more the merrier! So, if you're interested in meeting other parents from the area and having a safe and inexpensive place for your child to play during the winter, we meet every Friday at 9:30. The Pittsburgh Toy Lending LIbrary is located in the Methodist Church at the corner of Centre and Aiken---enter from Centre Street. See the website for details. If we're not be among them this year, the St. Andrew's Adult Programs Committee invites us to a Cinema St. Andrew evening, as part of our "Nomads and Pilgrims" series on the exploration of the spiritual journey, as we will enjoy together, *Groundhog Day*, the 1993 comedy film written by Danny Rubin and Harold Ramis and directed by Harold Ramis, starring Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell. It's great fun -- and it leaves us with much to ponder as well on how we make sense of the evolution of our own character over the days and years of our lives.
