Anthony Coccia of "Anthony's Original Italian Ice" died a few months ago, so sadly this will be the first summer in a long time during which we won't see him near the park entrance with his Italian ice cart. Greetings, I just wanted to give everyone a "heads up" that you have a local community member that specializes in Computer ( PC ) Support and repairs and also has a "quick answer" help desk that is a local number, ( I'm on Winterton St. ... not in Asia ! ) for existing clients. My name is Steve Karl and I run and maintain the Pittsburgh PC Help Desk which can be found at: http://www.sightsea.com/pghpchd/ My "pet peeve" ::: New Computers that run very poorly because that "name brand company" put all that junk-ware in the machine. I've gotten really good at cleaning them up and making them perform well. Free Anti-Virus software that out performs the "2 big sellers" and is very "light weight" and easy on your PC. Initial phone consult is no charge, and most "quick calls" from existing clients are also no charge. Hardware repair / replacement also. This month local singer/songwriters Clark Slater, Tony Lee, and Todd Adleff will take the stage, Friday, March 2nd at 8pm. The three performers of the evening have gained fans and acclaim both locally and nationally. Tickets for the Urban Fusion Live concerts are priced at $5 for adults and$3 for children under the age of 13, free for children 5 and under, with proceeds benefiting the final renovation of the Great Hall of the Union Project. Tickets are available at the café and online both individually and in series. Below is the 2007 performance schedule for Urban Fusion Live. SIGN UP NOW FOR MARCH CLAY CLASSES Union Project will again be offering a Monday evening open studio and a Thursday evening beginning wheel throwing class. Classes begin at the end of March. All class fees include clay and glaze materials. Students enrolled in classes will have the opportunity to utilize the Union Project's new gas reduction kiln. I need a piano teacher for my 5 year old daughter. I am looking for someone who teaches a traditional, classical method as well as jazz chords/chord changes/chart reading. We have a piano at home. She can study there or we will bring her to you. Her schedule is flexible except for Saturdays from 1 to 3. She is available before 1, however. My daughter has had some professional instruction and comes from a family of trained, professional musicians. [Highland Park] Dog picked up

This morning Pgh Animal Control picked up a stray dog from our neighbor's lawn (Sheridan Court, which is off of Sheridan between Hampton and Bryant). It had no identification. Another neighbor said that it was a large black dog (Labrador or maybe Rotweiler) and friendly. If you have lost such a dog, you should contact Animal Control.
